I had the hot wire to Heat demon grips spliced into my wiring so they did not drain battery when off. I only removed them as didn have the subscription to GPS tracker anymore and prefer softer grips VA Heat demon at least when its warm out anyway - are awesome super cold. Both items work as they should. It will drain battery slowly if hooked up directly.
